
My Approach
One of my most basic beliefs is in the human impulse to grow and heal. No matter how young or old, you have an inherent wisdom and countless times when you have persevered despite challenge.
My job is to help you reconnect to your intuition, power and resourcefulness.

Towards this end, I create a safe place for you to share your concerns, as well as your strengths and goals. I listen with compassion and without judgment.
I see our work as collaborative and tailor my approach to meet your needs. Together we work as a team to shed new light on the challenges you are facing.
Through discussion, guided self-inquiry and felt sense experience, I help you discover new information, perspectives and self-understanding. This experiential component serves to promote the shift from contemplation to action.

Along the way, I may periodically share information on attachment (the study of nurturing and reparative connection), neuroscience (the study of how the brain works) and regulation (the study of how our nervous system works).
Ultimately my goal is to facilitate a highly engaging, enlightening and satisfying growth process.
I enjoy blending a variety of therapeutic modalities including Client Centered Therapy, Experiential Therapy ("Hakomi"), EMDR, Ego State Therapy, and Mindfulness.
